Life's Good, Reinvent Your Future
LG's 2024 Summer Internship Program will be a 9-week internship from June 3rd through August 2nd, 2024.
The internship will be based in the LG North America Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and pay an hourly rate of $23.50.
The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience.
The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program's end.
Responsibilities
• Provide support to partners engagement, business development, and LG channels/advertising teams
• Create reports accessing third party research reports and internal metrics on industry trends of Smart TVs and digital distribution of content
• Coordinate on device editorial calendar
Projects
• Projects will focus on competitive analysis of Smart TV OS
• Report NA market trends focusing on digital content distribution
• Develop and organize tracking of LG's video on demand (VOD) library
• Create reports on VOD usage trends
• Coordinate on device editorial calendar with the partner engagement team
Qualifications
• MBA preferred, or enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University as a rising Junior or Senior
• Education in Business, Marketing, or Advertising
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
• Strong communication skills
• Bilingual (Korean, but not mandatory)
• Business analytics (not mandatory)
• Knowledge in the media/entertainment digital distribution model and trends (i.e. Netflix, Disney , vMVPDs, et.)
• Experience utilizing Smart TVs and apps (preferred)
• Knowledge in advertising monetization models
