Better Day Farms is seeking a part-time Harvest Worker to join our team at our hydroponic greenhouse in Tulsa, OK. As a Harvest Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient harvesting of our lettuce crops (usually on Mondays, and Thursdays but days may vary) from 8am to 2pm. This is farming so times may vary from time to time. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time job with a growing company.

Responsibilities:

• Harvest lettuce crops according to quality and production standards.
• Clean Lettuce NFT channels during harvest as well as load onto rolling cart
• Sort and pack harvested lettuce to ensure it is ready for shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the harvesting area.
• Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure timely and efficient harvests.
• Communicate any issues or concerns with the harvest process to the Harvest Manager.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Must be available to work on Mondays (possibly Tuesdays) and Thursdays from 8am to around 2pm
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Experience in agriculture or farming is preferred but not required.
