Duration: 12+ Months Contract (extension)

Role Description: The Hardware Test Engineer must have at least 2-5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities:
You may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the responsibilities below as reasonably required by business needs.
- Accountable for defining requirements, developing, building and implementing test fixtures/equipment and corresponding test procedures for electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Owns design and development of test and validation methods for test equipment.
- Write plans, procedures, and protocols for software/Hardware Testing activities. (Verification and/or validation). Execute verification and/or validation protocols.
- Works with contract manufacturers to resolve test failures.
- Accountable for identifying, diagnosing, prioritizing, and correcting technical issues that may arise in testing and manufacturing.
- Evaluate and develop testing parameters and outputs for trending analysis.
- Analyzes defects, provides feedback, and implements process improvements.
- Participates in design reviews, working with R&D and manufacturing to create a project test plan for manufacturing, define test requirements, develop test specifications, and define user interface requirements for test equipment as it relates to new product introduction.
- Participates in professional development and stays current with new manufacturing test technology and processes while actively seeking to implement new technology into new and existing production lines.
- Collaborates with machine/automation vendors to design, validate, and implement automated equipment/processes.
Requirements:
- New Product Introductions - The SAP Variant Configuration Analyst will create variant configurator models for the company's new product.
- Exposure to Advanced Variant configuration is an added advantage.
- Understanding of data migration tools like LSWM /LTMC, Query.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori based processes and its application.
- Strong understanding of cross functional processes across SAP modules.
Professional Experience:
- Proven expertise as SAP VC analyst with at 7+ years Support/development experience with full life cycle implementations
- Thorough understanding of wide range of business processes with a focus on VC processes.
- Solid hands-on experience with architecting, configuration, deployment, and testing of SAP based enterprise software applications.
- Global experience required.
- Strong Project Management capabilities
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Area of Study (engineering preferred). May have Master’s degree.
