Nesco Resource is seeking a Hardware & Data Technician for a contract opportunity in the Long Island NY area.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a temporary, entry-level Purchasing Agent to efficiently manage departmental emails and data entry tasks. Initial training will be conducted on-site for approximately one week, after which the position will transition to remote work.
Responsibilities:
Verify delivery ETAs with vendors and update our system accordingly.
Process incoming parts and warranties using spreadsheets and vendor websites.
Handle RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) and manage the RMA queue/process.
Create purchase orders and make online purchases as needed.
Set up part numbers and perform data entry tasks.
Organize, review, and respond to a high volume of purchasing emails.
Qualifications:
Some professional office experience.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Accurate data entry skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
High attention to detail.
Organized and capable of meeting deadlines efficiently.
