Using our proven fun, "story time with a soccer ball" approach we take creative play to a whole new level and introduce physical activity to young children in an amazing way. HappyFeet, operating throughout the entire Charleston and surrounding areas, is now being franchised nationwide and is one of the fastest growing Preschool physical education programs in the country. Responsibilities:
This position has the potential to change and evolve as you become more experienced with the philosophy of HappyFeet and the Legends soccer club, but initially the Coach will be responsible for:
- coaching classes at select area schools
- overseeing the marketing program at the schools in which you coach
- Communicating between school directors and the HappyFeet director
Required skills:
The ideal candidate should have or be able to accomplish the following:
- Background in soccer (playing or coaching) or working with children
- Amazing with young children (patience with young children)
- High Personal Integrity and reliability
- Successful at juggling multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills (working with school directors and teachers to grow program)
- Quick learner
- Must have a cell phone, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Position: Currently a part-time position. Monday-Friday 9am-1pm time slot available. We have programming that happens in the mornings, and afternoons throughout the week and on the weekends.
Our hope is to build a full-time position around the right person.
Pay:$20/hr.
