The Shiseido Summer Internship program is a paid, full time 9-week program for college rising Juniors or Seniors starting June 3rd through August 2nd. We are committed to your professional development so during your time here, you can expect to participate in meaningful projects, networking, professional development workshops, speaker series, volunteer activities, and you will also have the opportunity to connect with your global peers across the world!
Responsibilities:
The key role of the Shiseido US Marketing Intern is to partner with the Shiseido US Channel Marketing team to Support the development and execution of marketing plans. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about the skincare landscape at key retailers like Sephora, Ulta, Macy's and Amazon, including merchandising strategy, sampling, promotional activities and product launches. - Monitor best practices in Beauty sector to identify opportunities
- Perform audits to ensure ecommerce best practices are followed within retailer.com sites, and track activities and placements of competitors across retailer.com digital properties
- Assist in the briefing and development of locally produced elements, like print collateral, digital retailer asset needs and visual merchandising
- Assist with monthly and ad hoc competitive reporting, like NPD/Circana
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor's degree
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
- Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
- Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
- Have a passion for cosmetics, beauty industry and consistently keeping up-to-date with trends
