Description:
The Shiseido Summer Internship program is a paid, full time 9-week program for college rising Juniors or Seniors starting June 3rd through August 2nd. We are committed to your professional development so during your time here, you can expect to participate in meaningful projects, networking, professional development workshops, speaker series, volunteer activities, and you will also have the opportunity to connect with your global peers across the world!
Responsibilities:
Support NARS Global Marketing Complexion & Skincare team, contributing strategic ideas to product innovation, consumer insights, and marketing strategies
- Core responsibilities will include acting as key owner of competitive analysis to develop meaningful insights, contributing to brand presentations, and executing individual internship project
- Day-to-day activities will include actively attending cross-functional meetings, supporting team with ad hoc requests (utilizing competitive research tools such as NPD, Beaute), and store visits
- Hard skills: PowerPoint, Excel, market/data analysis, public speaking
- Soft skills: Creative, actively contributes ideas, team player - low ego, strong sense of urgency, ability to manage details and projects while responding to changing priorities and feedback
- Must have an authentic passion for beauty and be immersed in understanding new products, trends (both within beauty industry and within digital platforms), consumer behavior, and brand marketing strategies
Requirements:
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor's degree
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
- Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
- Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
- Have a passion for cosmetics, beauty industry and consistently keeping up-to-date with trends
