Job Location: Princeton, NJ (Onsite+Telemedicine).
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 contract.
Pay Rate: $220/hr for onsite patient care, $160/hr for telemedicine.
Schedule: Starting in April 2024, 1-2 days/month onsite, followed by flexible telemedicine schedule
We will consider a Physician willing to get licensed for state of NJ.
Full Description
VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Physician to provide wellness visits and follow up lifestyle coaching on a multi-week program to our clients in Princeton, NJ area. The program will focus on preventing and reversing metabolic syndrome. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general wellness checkups.
- Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
- Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
- Provide disease management to patients based on our program guideline.
- Educate patients around healthy eating and lifestyle.
- Educate patients around blood pressure and glucose monitoring.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following post graduate training.
- Must have current NJ license or willing to be licensed in the state of NJ. NY and other state license will be a plus.
- Must be fluent in HAITIAN CREOLE.
- Background in internal medicine, family practice, preventive care and endocrinology preferred.
- Preventive medicine oriented.
- Patient education driven.
- Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Must be able to commute to Princeton NJ 1-2 days per month.
