Compensation: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Birds Barbershop has been locally owned and operated in Austin since 2006. Boasting 9 locations across town, Birds looks to provide quality cuts for all walks of life in a fun atmosphere where our stylists can truly be themselves. Through the power of our stylists, barbers, and our female-led Shop Support team, we serve over 20,000 clients every month.

Job Summary
Birds' Barbers and Stylists are versatile and efficient. They value and exude a positive, inclusive demeanor, and appreciate a salon/barbershop atmosphere where quality and approachability intersect.
Responsibilities
- Be proficient in all cutting and service techniques offered by Birds
- Be knowledgeable and able to educate and recommend all haircare products offered by Birds
- Share responsibility for shop cleaning duties as assigned
- Operate according to all TDLR guidelines.
- Own and maintain high-quality tools; shears, combs, brushes, clippers, trimmers, blow-dryers, nape razors, and blades. Come prepared to work with your tools at scheduled shifts.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and education when scheduled by Birds leadership
- Maintain a professional, positive attitude in the workplace and commit to upholding Birds' no-drama policy
- Contribute to a teamwork environment by communicating, listening, and being proactive and helpful
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of hair cutting experience
- Cosmetology and/or Barber License
