Hair Braider

Maxximized Hair Studio is a vibrant, client-focused salon dedicated to delivering top-tier beauty services. We're seeking a skilled passionate Braid/Loc Stylist to join our dynamic team. We want to help someone grow their clientele for a braiding business as we have many requests through our social media pages and walk-ins. Please apply ONLY if you have a portfolio of your work! Position Overview:

As a Braid Stylist at MaXximized Hair Studio, you will be responsible for providing exceptional braiding services to our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various braiding techniques and creative flair will contribute to our salon's reputation for excellence.

Need 1 year experience doing MOST of the following:

Knotless Box Braids, Senegalese twists, Feed-in Cornrows, Feed-in Stitch Braids, Faux Distressed Locs, Butterfly locs, Soft locs, Passion Twist, Bohemian Knotless Braids, etc.

Responsibilities include:

Communicating with clients and conducting consultations about desired hairstyles and offer professional advice on suitable braid styles based on hair type, texture, and preferences.

Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for clients.

Following established sanitation guidelines to protect clients from infection

Upsell salon products and services when appropriate.

Stay updated on current trends and techniques in braiding and suggest innovative styles to clients.

Shampoo, condition and blow dry hair for a full client experience if needed.

Must be able to achieve Clean parting and braiding techniques

Braids must be even in density and attractive throughout the entire head

Maintain a clean and organized work station, following salon hygiene and safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Proven experience as a braid stylist with a portfolio showcasing various braid styles..

-Proficiency in different braiding techniques and the ability to work with diverse hair types and textures.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.

-Knowledge of hair care products and their appropriate usage.

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality
