Job details:

ROLE SUMMARY

The Business Analyst for the Guidewire ClaimCenter application will support project managers and business stakeholders with User Acceptance Testing project support as well as help with other initiatives including downstream systems and reporting integrations. This resource will also be responsible for creating business and functional requirement definitions for claims processing and administration teams.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct requirement definitions for claims solutions.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their business requirements, informational needs, and data sources.

Translate business needs into clearly defined, detailed business / functional requirements inclusive of business use cases, process flows, data flows, traceability matrices, as well as screen mock-ups.

Provide subject matter expertise to the IT team throughout the claims processing project.

Review development and test deliverables, as needed.

Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirement elicitation sessions, meetings, and presentations.

Collaborate with development and testing teams to provide subject matter expertise.

Help troubleshoot and resolve issues when "out-of-the-box" functionality is produced.

Lead review sessions for key business users, that have focus on gaining consensus and final business approval. These sessions will have the topic of business / functional requirements.

Participate in the development of User Acceptance Test planning documentation; including test plans and scripts, based on business and functional requirements.

Facilitate UAT execution phase and work with business stakeholders and project managers to obtain User Acceptance Test signoff.

Coordinate project plans and estimate efforts, as needed.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of proven experience in business analysis, with 3+ years in Commercial Auto, Property or Workers Comp Claims.

Proven experience within Insurance business, functional / reporting requirements, and conducting User Acceptance Testing for business-critical solutions in complex environments.

Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter systems is required.

Detailed claims processing knowledge and experience.

Experience with Guidewire Policy Center is preferred.

Proven hands-on experience in writing and executing MS SQL query is required.

Experienced with formal SDLCs and businesColorads analysis methodologies, working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards.

Agile methodology experience is a plus, but not required.

Strong experience with claims management solutions.

Experienced with iterative and agile methodologies, working knowledge of both SDLC & PMLC processes.

Hands-on experience writing business requirements, functional requirements or user stories, business process diagrams, and data rules is required.

Knowledge and experience in reviewing, reengineering, or developing IT solutions for business process / improvements automation.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive experience in using standard project tools including Microsoft Team Foundation Server (via Visual Studio), Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Must be proficient with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio).

Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus holding the ability to clearly articulate details to all project members and stakeholders.

Proven track record of creating clear, concise deliverables that reflect a deep understanding of business needs

Role-2:Java Guidewire Engineer
Job Location: NC, CO, PA, TX, ND, FL, NY (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite)

Job details:

This role will be a hands-on senior Claims Center Technical Lead who has grown through the ranks with experience managing 10-20 integration and configuration engineers across project and maintenance portfolios with substantial experience in owning, running, and supporting Guidewire Claims Center platform and integrations around it.

Responsibilities:

Oversee Claims Center Development Teams with responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering new Commercial Insurance and Reinsurance products as well as supporting and maintaining a highly available

and performing production environment

Plan, control and oversee engineering staffing needs across project and maintenance portfolios

Work with Project Management and Business Architecture / Analysis and Product teams to help manage scope, size, planning, development, implementation, and support for projects within the Claims portfolio

Represent the Claims Technology teams to establish strong business relationships with key customers, IT groups and vendors

Collaborate with Business Analysis, Product, Operations and Testing groups in testing Claims applications to business and IT defined quality metrics, and functional and non-functional KPIs.

Manage, maintain, and support Claims Center platform and Claims services in line with SLAs within production and non-production environments

Ensure that unit and functional tests are integrated into solutions and are part of CI/CD pipelines, with high level of code coverage

Ensure that proper branching methodologies are implemented for flexibility and agility with delivery supporting multiple development tracks

Overall support of Claims Center eco-system, including integrations for Policy, Financial and CRM systems as well as integrations with bureaus, 3rd party vendors and other service providers

Manage and maintain the technical / solution documentation including architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, deployment diagrams and production runbooks

Manage production applications to KPIs and troubleshoot any availability and performance issues at multiple layers of deployment, from hardware, operating environment, network, and application

Manage, maintain, and govern engineering standards around security, secure-coding, logging, alerting, build, deployment, and integrations
