The Hamister Group is currently seeking qualified individuals with a high level of professionalism to fill some front desk positions. The applicant must have strong communication skills and a desire to succeed in a busy hotel environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests as they arrive.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately
- Accommodate guest requests.
- Take incoming phone calls and assist in any way needed.
- Make guest reservations over the telephone or in person.
- Assist guests by providing directions or recommending local amenities or attractions.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving any problems in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Handle credit card or cash transactions
- Maintain a clean and neat front desk area.
- Process reports and handle end of shift paperwork and account balancing
- Communicate professionally and thoroughly with all hotel associates.
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.
- Flexible availability and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Excellent oral and written communication skill
- Friendly phone demeanor is a must.
