Guest Service Agent

Good Nite Inn is taking candidates for our Guest Service Representative position to join our Front Desk team. You will serve as our guests’ first point of contact; managing all aspects of their accommodation. The Guest Service Representative's responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and are interested in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. We want you to be a part of our guests' excellent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
• Manage online and phone reservations
• Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
• Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
• Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
• Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
• Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
• Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
• Keep lobby and Front Office tidy

Skills

• Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role a plus, but not required
• Experience with hotel reservations software, like Cloudbeds and RoomKeyPMS a plus, but not required
• Ability to learn how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and Expedia
• Customer service attitude
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
