Guest Relations

JOB SUMMARY

At Sprouts Cooking School, we are committed to providing the highest quality children’s cooking classes that enrich and inspire children and their families. Our ideal candidate has previous management experience with a growing, fast paced small business. They would be an excellent problem solver, deliver great customer service, think out of the box with difficult internal issues, have a positive dedicated attitude, and love working with and teaching children. This position reports to the Operations Manager. This position is currently 10-15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service and communication

• Communicate with guests via email and phone regarding all classes, birthday parties and special events

• Manage all Guest Relations emails with particular attention to birthday parties

• Book birthday parties in our scheduling system and booking system to ensure all parties are appropriately covered

• Meet once a week with management team to discuss upcoming events and allergies

• Ensures systems are in place to create shop standards and policies for our growing environment

• Act as the event planner to assist in organizing all private events, as well as community events

• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations

• Assist in social media posts and company exposure

• Provide exceptional food safety and allergen awareness information to guests

• Provide in-store customer service and troubleshooting

• Strong decision-making skills are a must

• Answer phones and return phone messages daily

• Additional responsibilities will be assigned by the Operations Manager

Job Qualifications:

• 1 - 3 years Guest Relations experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Day time hours, work from home with one in office day a week

• Must keep a professional appearance with impeccable hygiene

• Must have strong attention to detail

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Possess excellent basic math skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
