Entrance Operations, Vacation Planner - Volcano Bay

JOB SUMMARY: Provides suggestive and persuasive up selling of Universal Orlando admissions products and all financial responsibilities that accompany.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engage guests by asking open ended questions to identify the guests’ need and provide assistance with selection of ticket media.
• Responsible for using suggestive selling and up selling techniques and providing accurate and current information regarding various product offerings and entitlements while meeting established sales goals.
• Process transactions for the sales of park admissions media, annual pass products and other offerings while practicing proper cash handling procedures and ensuring the accuracy of funds.
• Provides relevant park information to guests as well as engaging in positive guest interactions with all guests.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE: Effectively up-sell to guests using qualifying questions while upholding Universal Way standards and practicing all proper cash handling procedures.

EDUCATION: High school degree or GED is required. Associate’s degree (AA) is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• One to three years in a sales position with face-to-face customer contact preferred.
• Six months to one-year prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Ability to work with large team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly adapt to change as required and respond do such change in a positive manner.
• 2nd Language is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to work outdoors and stand for long periods of time.
