QC Terme is the leading Italian wellness provider, with 6 spas and 4 spa resorts worldwide. Nine of the spas are located in Italy, and the company opened the first spa outside of Italy in 2018 in Chamonix, France. Other international openings are under way, with the first US Spa, opening on Governors Island in 2022.
QC Terme spas are experiential destination day spas that are typically fit-out in historical buildings but can be built from the ground up, in unique locations with beautiful views. The spas feature various forms of hydro therapeutic, thermal, and sense-stimulating pools that encompass about 30-35 experiences per spa.
QC NY are seeking passionate, sincere, Guest Experience Ambassadors, who are able to deliver fantastic customer experiences for our guests. Our beautiful NY Spa is located on Governors Island only 8 minutes by ferry. We offer free transport via ferry to the Island.
Job Summary:
The Guest Experience Ambassador will greet, and direct guests as they utilize the Spa. The Guest Experience Ambassador will establish a warm and welcoming environment for all Spa guests. This position will aid guests as well as answer questions to support the Guest Experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Be an accurate and reliable source of information for our guests.
- Acknowledge and advocate for our guests needs as it pertains to their experience at the Spa
- Respond immediately to guest inquiries regarding Spa features, services, and assistance.
- Manages flow from the front doors, efficiently helping Guests with needs and directing as needed.
- Check the tidiness of the spa areas, paying particular attention to detail as well as compliance with QC NY standards.
- Responds to and handles guest issues and complaints. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Promote and explain the services offered in the spa.
- Notifies Manager of any Guest that is perceived to be unhappy.
- Ensures overall guest satisfaction.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company Team Members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum Team Member morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
- Assists other Team Members as needed or as business dictates.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- The ability to demonstrate exceptional Customer Service Skills.
- Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Able to work long hours as sometimes required.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
