SalarySUMMARY
THE GUEST COORDINATOR (GC) POSITION IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE HOUSING PROGRAM. THE GC OVERSEES THE HOUSING PROGRAM. PROMOTES A QUALITY LIVING AND LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE GUESTS. THE GC WILL HAVE FIRST RESPONSE RESPONSIBILITIES. THE POSITION WILL ALSO EMPHASIZE COLLABORATION WITH CLINICAL AND MEDICAL DEPARTMENTS SUPPORTING HOUSING ENGAGEMENT AND PROCESS & PROCEDURES.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Inspection of clients living quarters, assigned tasks (i.e.: sweeping the floors, take out trash and pick up trash around the house. Clean windows and bathrooms). General building maintenance. Security (Ensure all doors and windows are locked). Review security camera footage when deemed necessary. Follow Guest check in/check out procedures. Daily bed count and shift reports. Other duties as assigned by the site coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with substance abuse population
- Assist the Guest Housing Manager when necessary
- Provide direction and guidance to guests
- Carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions, along with the ability to understand human behavior
- Must maintain a professional demeanor while dealing with emotionally charged issues and individuals
- Must be able to make decisions at times with imperfect information
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from a diverse demographic group.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Effective Communication
- Active listening skills
