Position Summary

The Servers role is to provide an exceptional experience for the Guest. As a Server for GuacAmigos you must have a desire to go above and beyond to ensure our Guests have an unforgettable time while they are with us. You are the brand ambassador and you have a duty to make sure all guests leave with a smile on their face!

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized service for every Guest.
• Serve the Guest in an accommodating manner.
• Ensure hot food is hot and cold food is cold.
• Adhere to timing standards for products and service.
• Look for ways to consolidate service and increase table turns.
• Present menus, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverages.
• Must know all food, liquor, beer, and wine offered.
• Apply positive suggestive sales approaches to guide Guests on making food and beverage choices.
• Pre-bus and bus tables; maintain table cleanliness.
• Take the necessary steps to avoid waste and limit costs.
• Assist in keeping the restaurant spotlessly clean, safe, and sanitary.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly at all times.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables as needed.
• Complete the daily and weekly cleaning duties.
• Must follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
• Must be able to accurately and effectively operate the POS system.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must smile and have an upbeat & outgoing personality. Must be able to make guests smile and have an enjoyable experience!
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (may vary by state).
• Must have all certifications and licenses required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to responsibly handle cash and electronic payment transactions.
• Must be able to consolidate and coordinate needs for all tables within their station.
• Must be able to carry food and beverages.
• Must be able to work in a team environment. Be able to stand and walk for up to ten or more hours and navigate throughout the restaurant, be able to lift 10-30 pounds, use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
