Being a part of the Blue Star Smiles team comes with strong interpersonal skills including communication, organization, and empathy. Assistants will rely on these skills when caring for and educating patients as well as ensuring our clinical operations run smoothly. General objectives: Assisting doctor with patient management and promotion of practice utilizing a WOW! patient care approach.
To support our team members, we offer:
- $20-30 per hour base pay
- +$2 per hour for hours worked after 6 pm and Saturdays
- 10 vacation days available immediately

Requirements
Along with assisting the doctor in caring for patients, applicants must have a valid Texas RDA License.
Some daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Inventory management
- Participation in daily meetings to improve patient care
- Receiving patient complaints or concerns with compassion and empathy
- Building value in the necessary treatment / procedures as outlined by doctor
- Actively working recall system
- Looking for ways to improve hygiene program and quality of care
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- X-Ray Certification (Required)
