Position Overview:

As the Growth Marketing Manager, Lifecycle/CRM, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies for SMB and Enterprise audiences, leveraging best in class marketing automation and CRM tools. The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of experience in ecommerce marketing with a focus on customer lifecycle management.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Lifecycle Strategy Development: Plan and implement end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategies, automated journeys, and one-off campaigns across all CRM channels (including Email, SMS, Push, and in-app Messaging) to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and revenue generation.

A/B Testing: Develop plans for and execute ongoing A/B testing throughout the customer journey to improve performance and drive incremental revenue.

Segmentation and Personalization: Utilize customer data to create segmented and personalized campaigns, ensuring relevant and timely communication to highly unique customer cohorts.

Analytics and Reporting: Own and maintain a regular cadence of reporting on lifecycle metrics, and maintain a deep understanding of the customer base, prospective customer base, and opportunity size. Take ownership of relevant KPIs, analyze results, provide actionable insights, and communicate results across the organization. Use data-driven approaches to refine strategies and achieve marketing objectives.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, analytics, creative and content teams, to align lifecycle marketing strategies with overall business objectives.

Tool Implementation: Assess the feasibility and benefits of marketing technology to improve capabilities and efficiencies. Lead migration processes and data management, ensuring seamless transitions and improved functionality for the team.

Customer Journey Mapping: Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey, identifying touchpoints for effective engagement and creating marketing initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 4-6 years of experience in Growth Marketing with a focus on ecommerce and lifecycle marketing. At least four years of experience working in direct-to-consumer Lifecycle Marketing, subscription-based services is a plus.

  • Proven experience using Marketo (or similar), ability to implement new tools where necessary.

  • Experience building communications through marketing automation tools (Iterable, Klaviyo)

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to drive decision-making.

  • HTML/CSS coding experience is a plus, at minimum an understanding for email development.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience in A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization strategies.

  • Familiarity with ecommerce metrics and KPIs.

  • Entrepreneurial and interested in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
