DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide group-based clinical services to address mental health issues. Conduct multiple groups daily to increase client stability, treatment stability and housing readiness. Conduct therapeutic and pychoeducational groups with topics, including but are not limited, to stress management, anger management and conflict resolution, decision-making, impulse control, suicide and self-harm prevention and support, medication compliance and living with chronic mental illness. Provide individual follow-up as needed. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:
37.5 hours per week
- Mon/Tues 10am-10pm; Wed-Thurs 7am-5pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, art therapy or a related field preferred. Bachelor's degree required. Experience working with MICA clients in both individual and group modalities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization, computer and typing skills, ability to use independent judgment.
*Vaccination preferred but not required.
