We are looking for a highly driven product leader to join the Search Advertising team and develop the next generation of online advertising products. This role will develop new and innovative ways for advertisers to stand out in front of users on eBay. We want our users to love (not hate) advertising, and you will utilize intuitive design principles and AI driven technologies to build delightful advertising products. These products will drive billions of dollars in annual ad revenue while engaging with millions of our users. You will excel in building the long-term product strategy as well as executing the strategy in close collaboration with engineering and design teams. You will also lead a team of Product Managers and have access to executive leadership. This is a highly visible role and you will work closely with various cross functional teams within advertising and search.
The Search Advertising business line is a high priority investment that provides an opportunity for you to make a big contribution to eBay's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own product strategy and vision for several initiatives within advertising, with a focus on building buyer facing ad solutions
- Lead a team of Product Managers
- Build a multi quarter product roadmap in close collaboration with leadership and other stakeholders
- Lead the team to execute the product roadmap by working with application, data science and design teams. Build MVPs, iterate fast and be the champion of execution excellence
- Build key metrics for the product and devise AB tests to identify launch candidates
- Balance the often conflicting needs of buyers and sellers to grow the advertising business sustainably in the long-term
Qualifications:
- +8 years of strong product management experience with at least 3 years in digital advertising or consumer facing products. Experience in developing consumer facing ad products is highly preferred
- Strong product sense - ability to understand consumer needs and figure simple ways to solve the needs
- Design minded - ability to meet the needs of consumers through intuitive product design
- Metrics driven - ability to build actionable metrics which can measure product performance
- Strong leadership - ability to mentor and lead a team of passionate Product Managers
- Builds strong relationships across various teams within eBay; an active listener and clear communicator; can lead by influence

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$168,400 - $262,900
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
