Play a pivotal role on our Product team by leading the immediate and long-term strategy and priorities for our beverage platforms. You will drive strategic thinking and connection with key counterparts across strategy, product development, analytics and insights, as well as the broader CMP organization. You will lead a talented team of product managers while working closely with cross functional stakeholders to develop and commercialize strategies that will inspire and delight our customers while fueling the engine of the Starbucks beverage business.
  • Demonstrate strategic leadership over the beverage business, playing a critical role in defining the future and achieving growth ambitions:
    • Develop and execute Innovation program and platform strategies in service of the business
    • Leverage business insights, customer insights and Industry Trends to define future areas of growth for key Beverage Territories
    • Discover and Define unmet customer needs and develop, test and refine products to meet new occasions
    • Navigate ambiguity and changing business dynamics to drive priorities forward, while balancing interdependencies across partner, customer, and business
  • Lead a team of high performing partners, while building culture
    • Model leadership behaviors that are grounded in Starbucks Mission and Values
    • Drive engagement, development and performance of all members of your team
    • Challenge and inspire partners to achieve business results and create the future of beverage together
    • Guide the team in thinking through complex and ambiguous issues, identify creative information sources and approaches, and pushing the team to develop new insights
    • Foster Team Collaboration and co-creation - scaling impact by effectively working through and with others
    • Explore and have fun experiencing beverages at Starbucks and in the Industry!

We'd love to hear from people with:
  • Progressive experience in brand & product management, design-thinking, management consulting, or corporate strategy in a retail or packaged goods environment, 6-10 years
  • People Management Experience, demonstrating ability to successfully hire and manage high functioning team members, 3+ years
  • Project Leadership in a highly cross functional environment, directing project test & learn roadmaps, decisions and milestones, 6+ years
  • Strong analytical and story-telling ability
  • Strong organizational ability, have demonstrated ability to lead and influence and collaborate with a history of partnering across organizational boundaries
  • Confidence in navigating change and ambiguity, ability to quickly adapt to business needs and leadership direction
  • A passion for developing products and building brands rooted in customer empathy

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience or four years US military experience in a related MOS/C
  • MBA Preferred
