Group Fitness Instructor

Red Hawk Golf and Resort in Sparks, Nevada is now hiring for a Group Fitness Instructor. We are looking to expand our class schedule, and looking for an additional instructor that can bring their knowledge and passion for health and fitness to Red Hawk Golf and Resort.
We currently offer Spin, Yoga, Strength and Cardio, TRX and Barre. We are looking to expand these class offerings, or to add a new class! Let us know what you'd like to teach, and let's see if it is good fit for our Studio!
Pay: $25/class
Key Responsibilities of the Fitness Instructor:
• Guides members through initial and progressive training in the areas of flexibility, aerobic conditioning and strength training.
• Instructs fitness classes each week.
• Insures proper, up-to-date and safe procedures are used in the teaching of all classes.
• Inspects exercise equipment and areas for cleanliness and safety. Performs light custodial duties such as wipes down equipment and monitors cleanliness of fitness studio.
• Monitors classes in progress, providing constructive assistance.
• Enforces all rules and regulations in a polite and professional manner.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Minimum Qualifications for the Fitness Instructor:
• Associate’s degree (AA) in Physical Education or related field; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications:
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Experience and exposure with wide variety of exercise equipment, instructional techniques, injury prevention, fitness/wellness counseling, and developing/interpreting personalized fitness/wellness regimens.
