Groundskeeping Specialist

Lawrence Companies is a dedicated, employee-owned business, that’s strives to provide a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our customers, clients, and employees. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Groundskeeper.

Position Overview: As a Part-Time Groundskeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our property. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to landscaping, grounds maintenance, and general upkeep.

Responsibilities:

• Landscape Maintenance: Mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and maintaining flowerbeds to ensure a well-groomed and attractive appearance.
• Trash Removal: Regularly collecting and disposing of litter and debris from common areas.
• Irrigation Systems: Monitoring and adjusting irrigation systems as needed to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• General Maintenance: Performing routine inspections and repairs to benches, fences, and other outdoor structures.
• Seasonal Tasks: Leaf removal, snow removal, and other seasonal tasks as required.
• Communication: Reporting any issues or concerns related to grounds maintenance to the property manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in grounds keeping is strongly preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate and maintain grounds keeping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance needs.
• Physical capacity and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting and manual labor.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well independently.

Schedule:

This is a part-time, seasonal position. The typical schedule will be 30 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during peak seasons or special projects.

Pay Type: Hourly

Job Type: Part-Time / Seasonal

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.
