Job Summary:
Performs semi-skilled duties required to maintainUniversity grounds. Includes: mowing, weed eating,watering, planting, picking up trash, general clean-up of facilities, and otherassigned duties.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operates power equipment used in the maintenance of grounds.
- Follows and ensures compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Sweeps, pick up and maintains the appearance of the grounds, curbs, and walkways.
- Prunes and trims trees and shrubs.
- Waters lawns, garden beds.
- Performs snow and ice removal, as needed.
- Applies pesticides and fertilizers.
- Performs routine maintenance on grounds equipment.
- Completes all mandatory training and participated in a minimum of two professional development each year.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
