Grocery Beverage Stocker/Merchandiser

We are looking to hire to fill the position of beverage stocker for the Korea-based grocery chain H-Mart in Mesa. Beverage merchandising experience is not required, but will be extremely helpful in maintaining quality shelf management due to the amount of foreign brands, flavors, and products you will be handling.

Desired Experience

• Ability to perform all physical aspects of stocker duties, including but not limited to bending lifting, squatting, climbing, walking and at times running
• Preferred 1 -2 years grocery retail experience in Grocery department processes and procedures
• Must understand proper handling, preparation, seasonality, and appropriate shelf life of products
• Checking for expired product
• Assisting with any re-set, project, service work, price changes, and signage
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, knives, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, six-wheel carts, balers, and other heavy machinery

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
• Assist in stock rotations, shelf resets and backroom duties as needed
• Unload deliveries, stock shelves and displays, rotate product
• Maintain the overall appearance of the department and backroom
• Ensure fresh and appealing aisles and cases by keeping them clean and well-stocked
• Help to maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for stocking, rotating and merchandising products
• Keeping store product filled at the shelf level with a neat clean appearance
• Analyzing back stock and ensuring appropriate product is being taken out to stock
• Filling and facing any new store products in their appropriate locations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
