Greeter/Porter

Fairway Ford Lincoln Subaru is a family-owned and operated dealership that has been in business for over 50 years. We are seeking to hire two Greeter/Porter for our service department.

Position Overview: As a Greeter/Porter, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and support within a service-oriented environment. This position combines customer interaction and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient service experience for clients. You will work closely with senior service advisors, pickup and delivery co-ordinates.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting Customers: Welcome and assist customers as they arrive at the service department, providing a friendly and professional demeanor. Direct them to the appropriate service advisor or department based on their needs.

Delivering or picking our guests vehicles as needed

Drive vehicles to and from designated areas.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

Ability to follow instructions.

Ability to work with independently and as part of a team

Time-management and multitasking skills to handle multiple vehicles requests on busy days.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive service or customer service is a plus.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an automotive or service-related industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers and team members.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications for data entry and documentation.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and completeness in all tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
• Genuine interest in the automotive industry and a willingness to learn and grow within the service advisor role.
