Job Description
Golf Greeter duties involve providing the highest level of guest services, maintaining the golf cart fleet, staging area, and practice facility. Greeters also assist in helping with golf tournaments and contributing to our Junior Golf Program. Candidate should be able to lift 50 plus pounds; ability to work in the Texas elements for extended periods on your feet in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work weekends and holidays.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED- Punctuality; Friendly and outgoing personality
- Reliable car transportation
- Food & Beverage or Retail work experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and understanding
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Can work many hours on feet and can work at irregular hours
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Valid driver license
- Providing and delivering exceptional member/guest services
- Greeting of guests and conveying club policies/information about the course.
- Assist in the club storage, and cart fleet duties as necessary
- Setting up the Driving Range and monitoring golf ball levels
- Ensuring club storage and all outside courtyard areas are clean
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Standing on feet; Walking; Carrying objects; Stooping; Kneeling
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
- Must be able to stand on feet majority of the day.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed outdoors with exposure to extreme heat/humidity. Occasional inside help as needed.
