Patrick's Bakery and Café is in search of a professional and customer service-driven Assistant Manager to welcome aboard our team in our beautiful greenhouse café in the Bachman’s store in Minneapolis at 6010 Lyndale Avenue South. No early mornings or late nights.

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. If you have a love for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is the place for you and we’d love to meet you!
You will be working alongside the GM to ensure all operations are running correctly. You will be responsible for preparing some food and some kitchen experience is required.
Our Minneapolis Location is retail/counter service only.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Process payments accurately using Aloha POS system
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Skills
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and ability to create various coffee beverages
- Experience in hospitality management, including overseeing front-of-house operations
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS system for order processing and payment handling
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in restaurant management is a plus
**** Culinary skills for basic food preparation*** Making salads, heating sandwiches and quiche, etc.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional hospitality
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, team members, and management
