Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and portion sizes
- Handle and store food safely, following proper food handling and sanitation guidelines
- Support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
- Assist with catering events and special functions as needed
- Utilize knives and other kitchen tools safely and effectively
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and meal assembly
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
