Chevy, Ford, Kenworth, John Deere, New Holland, Case, Caterpillar, Kubota, Toro, Wright, Stihl, Wells Cargo, etc.

The goal of the Landscape truck and Equipment Mechanic position is to contribute to the preventative maintenance and repair of multiple equipment types. Changing oil, filters, inspection and replacing worn parts, hydraulic hoses, lights, heaters, brakes, snowplows, etc. Some electrical diagnostic work. Test drive equipment, safety conscious, consistent on time performance, strong mechanical skills. Ability to follow basic instructions.

Essential Functions

• Perform service calls during snow & summer operations.
• Seasonal shift to trailer preventive maintenance.
• Maintain and repair all Small Engine equipment.
• Be open to and make suggestions for improved equipment or repair procedures, willingness to experiment for continued improvement.
• Must be available during snow operations.

Prerequisites

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Able to pass DOT medical exams
• Must have own tools
• Three (3) to five (5) years mechanical experience
• Experience operating a skid steer
• Knowledge of Construction and Snow removal equipment
