The Sales/Marketing Internship Program:
As a paid intern in this specific program, you will have an immersive experience where you serve as a valued team member learning the fundamentals of sales and marketing. You will also get a behind-the-scenes look at how a dominant local media organization operates.
The internship program will have a structured progression to expose students to a range of scenarios and skills including:
• Develop an understanding of how media is produced in a real-world environment
• Observe and learn about advertising and marketing products available across multiple media
• Understand client identification, acquisition, sales, and marketing processes
• Research and create sales materials and present presentations in practice role play and potentially real-world environments
• Partner with sales personnel on marketing calls with clients
• Lead generation
• Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
You must be currently enrolled in a college/university. Senior year preferred
Strong work ethic, and organizational skills
College student earning a degree with a desire to get hands-on experience in the broadcasting & digital field
