SalaryAs a Grassroots Associate, you will be doing field work and will be working independently and as part of a team to meet performance targets and goals.
You will use your communication skills to build rapport with potential supporters and your organizational skills to manage your time and schedule effectively.
You will be comfortable with technology and use the Americans for Prosperity proprietary app to gather data and report it to your supervisor.
In addition to canvassing, you will participate in training sessions and meetings to learn about Americans for Prosperity's core principles and their advocacy efforts.
Qualifications
- Outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for meeting new people
- Ability to manage your own time and schedule effectively
- Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with technology, including smartphones and tablets
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to work 10-35 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Canvass targeted neighborhoods door-to-door to identify potential voters and engage in conversations about their political beliefs
- Work collaboratively with your team to meet performance targets and goals
- Represent Americans for Prosperity in a professional manner while engaging with voters and potential supporters
- Attend training and team meetings as required
