SalaryA marketing agency headquartered in Fairfield, NJ seeks a talented team member to conceptualize and design print and web materials for various outputs. Strong capabilities in designing high-quality, technically strong layouts are a must.
This role is a hybrid design role calling on both traditional and digital design skills. This role requires the ability to work remotely on certain days.
WordPress CMS dashboard experience is a must.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Solid portfolio with a mix of digital advertising, layout, logo design, marketing materials, and advertising
- Ability to develop creative concepts and new ideas, brainstorm independently or with a team, and share ideas to develop concepts for projects
- Excellent communication skills and experience communicating directly with clients, as well as internal staff
- Ability to take direction easily and responsively, integrate client specs and requirements into projects, and respond promptly to feedback
- Extreme attention to detail, including highly refined typography skills and an eye for layout, proportions, spacing, white space, etc.
- Ability to independently work on, problem-solve and prioritize projects
Preferred Skills:
- Expert-level abilities with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Familiarity with video editing and motion graphics (Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects)
- Social media marketing capabilities, including design/development of social media posts and strategies for business
- PowerPoint design skills
- Strong video production capabilities, including video editing, audio editing, color correction, rendering, and video file handling
- Understanding of standard design processes such as storyboarding and logo development
Bonus Skills:
- Strong WordPress web development (front-end) capabilities
Familiarity with web development process, some basic HTML/CSS coding knowledge, and website build process knowledge (domains, hosting setup, database backups, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
