Summary
A design professional who thrives in both digital and print mediums, with demonstrable expertise in:
•Branding (original art and integrated theming)
•Presentation and proposal design and layout (PowerPoint, InDesign, etc.)
•Mobile UI/UX - Design concept à Production
•Web UI/UX - Design concept à Production
•In-person event design (room design à print production)
•Innovative design thinking (critical thinking about user needs)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•DIGITAL: Creates concepts, layouts, production templates, icons, illustrations, and original art adaptations for mobile-phone learning content. Works at Wordpress or Constant Contact for professional dealership-facing communications.
•PRINT: Creates concept and layout for brochures, direct mail pieces, web site, catalogs, newsletters, presentations and other sales and marketing, and learning and development materials which may include:
oStudying of layouts, concept design and related materials for each assignment and providing feedback regarding the most appropriate.
oPreparing photo prints utilizing software programs and techniques suited to specified reproduction.
oSelecting type and drawing lettering and schematics, perspectives, orthographics, or oblique angle views to depict function, relationship, and assembly sequence ofIllustration(s).
•Creates samples of finished layouts for approval.
•Secures printing with commercial vendors including:
oSelecting appropriate paper stock.
oPreparing files for image setting by service bureau.
oPromotes a consistent and professional corporate image for GP and ensures all internal and external materials adhere to corporate brand guidelines.
