Graphic Designer

Job Summary

Due to a pending retirement, The Greenwood Commonwealth is looking to hire a Graphic Designer to work with our advertising and news departments.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will be responsible for advertising layout and design, both for the newspaper’s print products and its website. Other responsibilities include toning photos for the newsroom, laying out the classified pages and working with the outside printers we use for our magazine and other glossy products.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidate should be visually creative, have good grammatical skills and ideally be adept at Adobe Photoshop and QuarkXpress or Adobe InDesign.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
