JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
As part of the Brand Marketing Team, the Graphic Designer Intern will apply art, design and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media and other print and digital materials for USA Football and National Teams.
Essential Functions
- This intern will bring their prior marketing background and will be given the opportunity to expand their knowledge through a variety of different projects.
- Design and create Brand Collateral: Produce brochures, flyers, posters, postcards and digital assets to support various marketing campaigns and events.
- Collaborates and consults with manager, other designers, and/or other project participants and team members to understand project assignment, audience and intended message.
- Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.
- Chooses graphics and stock photography, as appropriate; may enhance choices with simple drawings.
- Selects fonts for written copy; produces sample layout for approval by client or other project participants.
- Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to appropriate staff or departments for review.
- Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.
- Prepares print and digital files for final approval.
- Helps with organizing the photo library and tagging images.
- Ability to complete projects on deadline with an attention to detail in designs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple simultaneous projects.
- Excellent organizational skills and proper file management and file setup experience.
- This position is remote. Must be able to work well in a remote setting - dependable to be a self-starter and accountable to teammates.

Required Skills and Experience
- Portfolio of work is required
- Must have High School Diploma and currently working towards or has a degree in Art, Graphic Design or related disciplines preferred.
- Design experience in sports graphics preferred.
- Good communication skills and able to participate openly in a collaborative environment
- Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Motion design skills advantageous
- Web design, CSS/HTML helpful
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is an intern position, lasting 6-7 months. This position requires standard work hours and some weekend work.
