Summary of Position: As a Graphic Designer for La Vida Hospitality, your role will be to maintain visual branding elements of the La Vida Hospitality Group brands (including Crooked Hammock Brewery, Big Chill, Taco Reho, and La Vida) to ensure consistent visual messaging that matches with our brand standards and parameters. You will be a member of the La Vida Hospitality Creative team, working with La Vida’s Marketing Coordinators & Directors. The Graphic Designer will report to La Vida’s Creative Director. Summary of Position: As a Graphic Designer for La Vida Hospitality, your role will be to maintain visual branding elements of the La Vida Hospitality Group brands (including Crooked Hammock Brewery, Big Chill, Taco Reho, and La Vida) to ensure consistent visual messaging that matches with our brand standards and parameters. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of the La Vida Creative Team Manager and La Vida Marketing Directors
- Assist in designing of advertisements, artwork, posters, stickers, retail items, and other branding and communication materials
- Assist in the upkeep of websites, emails, and digital graphic design visuals to ensure consistency
- Execute art projects for LVH businesses within your abilities
- Coordinate with Creative Team Manager and Marketing Directors on graphic design task lists and project request forms to ensure clear communication
- Collaborate with the marketing team to help develop and execute marketing campaigns
- Work as part of a team to achieve overall La Vida goals and projects
- Live the brand and be a brand ambassador; make decisions in the best interest of the business at all times
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a degree
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign, with a willingness to learn new technologies or skills
- Self-motivated and capable of taking initiative to find creative solutions
- Requires the kind of relentless pursuit of quality that comes with a deep love of our brand and the products that we produce, in order to ensure their continued quality into the future
- Professional communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong planning and organizational skills. The ability to multitask, prioritize and adapt to changing situations;
- Ability to work in a standing or sitting position for long periods of time
- Flexibility of schedule to assume responsibilities as needed, ability to balance personal & professional life
- Professional appearance, punctual, reliable
- Hospitality soul with guest friendly demeanor
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and be able to work in very fast paced environment
Hours & Pay: This position pays $42,000-$48,000/hr with awesome employee perks. This position is part-time with flexible hours (mornings are preferable) and flexibility between the locations nearest to you.
