We do not sponsor, or relocate. Candidates must live in the City of Los Angeles. This is a beginners Graphic Designer position.
Graphic Designer will work closely under the Marketing Specialist to design and or create graphics to meet specific company needs, such as packaging, technical data sheets, logo design, and sales collateral. May use a variety of applications to achieve design intent that have excelling alignment to our brand standards here at L.H Dottie. Will provide a uniform scope of visual communication collateral work that embraces and promotes our brand.
- Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy and select style and size of type.
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
- Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations with quick turnaround.
- Use Adobe Suite to generate artwork.
- Design layout of art or product exhibits, displays, or promotional materials.
- Collaborate with others to develop or refine designs.
- Create product sell sheets and supplemental literature.
- Create website content: banners, icons, technical data sheets, etc,
- Product photography
- Packaging design
- Copywriting
- Able to produce and submit material for print
- Firm understanding of merchandising, branding, typography, and package development.
- Other duties as assigned
Additional desired skills (not required but desired):
- Email campaigns focusing on product centric messaging
- Web background (Adobe Magento)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and Vlookups)
- Interest/experience with social media (Instagram & LinkedIn)
- Google Analytics

Equipment: Able to use office equipment: PC computer, Outlook, any other software used within the department requirements.
Qualifications:
A. Associate’s degree or a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in professional Graphic Design role.
B. Advanced proficiency with: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Adobe Acrobat, and Illustrator)
& Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams)
C. Online portfolio/samples of work is REQUIRED
Physical requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently sit, stand, walk, and reach.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.09 - $26.00 per hour
