Graphic Design (Product Boxing/Packaging)

Packaging Graphic Designer - New Rochelle, NY

Allied Home is looking for an energetic, creative, and motivated Packaging Graphic Designer with a emphasis on retail packaging design to create compelling packaging designs for our products.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Design packaging in multiple formats -labels, inserts, tags, boxes, etc.
• Create logos, icons, diagrams, and any other assets needed for products and brands presentations.
• Create product packaging for retail and e-commerce as well as POS and displays.
• Verify compliance related content on packaging.
• Create diagrams, tech packs and color palettes.
• Create presentation boards and product materials.
• Develop content including writing copy and photography for presentations.
• Suggest and develop adjustments to existing products to offer exclusive options to retailers.
• Assist in creating unique product/brand names for products to allow for diverse stories. Brand identity and logo development.
• Contribute digital assets for new products and collection uploads and presentations.
• Create product and in store presentation renderings to include End Caps, PDQs, CDUs and Dump Bins.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• BA in business, Marketing or related field required.
• 3+ years of design experience in packaging consumer soft and hard goods, preferably in-home textile
• Understanding of B2B, D2C, e-commerce and private label channels
• Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish.
• Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities, and set and achieve challenging goals.
• Work under the pressure of deadlines and be adept at managing multiple tasks.
• Photographer and videographer skills are a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail-orientated.
• Exceptional speller.

Pay Rate Range

• $68,000.00 - $78,000.00.
