Graphic Design Marketing Specialist

Design Marketing is the creative force that steers the execution of the 85⁰C brand; and plays a critical role in creating marketing material and campaigns. Sr. Design Marketing Specialist contributes design solutions with a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines. This position will design artwork, typeset and generate a multitude of graphical elements for both 85⁰C print and web media.

Required Skills and Abilities

- Excellent typographic and layout awareness.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with high self-confident and able to clearly communicate complex information.

- In-depth understanding of 85°C products and future concepts.

- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed assigned targets and deadlines.

- Ability to be creative within the corporate brand guideline.

- Working knowledge of four-color printing process, digital production, and pre-press delivery formats.

- Demonstrated knowledge of product presentation and fixture management.

- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.

Job Duties

- Contribute ideas for typographic and layouts; design print and multimedia marketing materials (i.e. brochures, advertisement, displays, presentations, website and social media applications). Take, resize, and edit photos for marketing purposes and operational communications.

- Assist in designing store set plans in relation to seasonal timeframes, product launches, and market trends; create and implement compelling in-store marketing and visual merchandising to stimulate sales and accurately portray and represent the 85°C brand.

- Contribute and assist to the conceptualization and creation of brand-consistent campaigns for routine promotions and new products.

- Work with third-party web designers to help manage the 85cafe.us and other social media sites by providing content, ideas and updates.

- Prepare print media template and promotion materials ahead of launch dates (i.e. one week ahead for digital media, and two weeks ahead for physical prints)
