Equipment : Candidate will be provided with a laptop for use.
Computer software: MS Excel, MS Word, Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Dynamics, 365 Adobe.
Experience:
- Experience working within digital and print marketing including graphic design and video editing, and working across a variety of social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogging),
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat); Canva; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency in Excel is a plus.
- Experience in marketing, communications and/or research and product development field.
- Experience in product marketing.
- Experience working with external vendors preferred
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, graphic design communications, or related field.
- Good understanding of marketing standards and practices and specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics.
- Strong design skills with the ability to create logos, digital assets and content creation, including but not limited to social media.
- Ability to prioritize workload, must be highly organized, detail-oriented, handle various tasks simultaneously and work independently within limited time constraints.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and deal effectively and diplomatically with business professionals and EDA staff.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works as part of the EDA marketing team to create creative content, collateral and assets for social media.
- Creates organizational logos, designs and content consistent with brand guidelines, across marketing collateral, ads, PowerPoint Presentations, social media, and other relevant marketing & communications materials.
- Work closely on the Authority’s social media program under the direction of the Director. This includes:
- Recommendations for potential expansion of the social media program and innovative ideas to increase social media following.
- Develop content that EDA will share through these channels, and collaborate on the manner in which EDA social media programs will interact with partners, stakeholders, and the marketplace.
- Works closely with the communications Coordinator to ensure posting of content is timely and consistent with strategy.
- Designs, develops, prepares and updates digital marketing collateral and brochures, advertisements, baseline and custom PowerPoint presentations, e-newsletters, media lists and email marketing campaigns.
- Assists in managing development and preparation of presentations, newsletters, marketing campaigns and marketing collateral, specifically with ensuring that all material is developed in adherence to brand guidelines
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all product and program information and messaging is current and aligned, including website content.
- Works with Marketing & Product Specialist on the production of EDA’s annual report and other required reports, ensuring consistency with branding guidelines developed from the rebranding exercise.
- Promotes teamwork and communication to encourage an interactive, cooperative, collaborative and customer focused work environment among division, EDA staff and external customers.
- Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned.
