Job Summary
The Assistant Instructor will teach alone or in company with a second NCCER certified instructor. Will teach NCCER carpentry, concrete or reinforcing iron Level 1 or Level 2 as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Note: This position is a one year Grant Funded position through Wagner-Peyser. Also called Texas Talent Connection. Not eligible for tenure.

Minimum Qualifications
Certified Instructor for NCCER carpentry, concrete and reinforcing iron levels 1 and 2.
Safety is of utmost importance while teaching carpentry, concrete, and reinforcing iron classes. There are hazards presented when teaching NCCER courses
Preferred Qualifications
Affiliated with the Associated Builders and Contractors of Southeast Texas.
Salary
This is a one year Grant Funded position at $27,872 salary with benefits and retirement.
Work Hours
Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm
