JobResponsibilities
Pennoni Associates is current seeking aGraduate Traffic Engineerwith experience isconsistentwith, but not limited to:
- Traffic Engineer needed to join a dynamic team responsible for the delivery of traffic safety improvement projects in Philadelphia. PA
- Assist with Traffic Engineering tasks ranging from traffic impact analysis (TIA), safety evaluations, signal analysis and design and the preparation of signing and pavement marking plans, MOT / construction phasing plans, transportation management plans (TMPs) and lighting plans.
- Assist with traffic study reviews from third parties for new developments and projects.
Additional Required Attributes:
- OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and ProjectWise (PW) experience a plus
- Professional Organization participation (ITE, ASHE and/or ASCE)
- Bluebeam PDF editor experience a plus
- Developing Maintenance of Traffic schemes, Construction Phasing and Traffic Control Plans
- Developing project cost estimates and specifications, including Special Provisions.
- Experience with lighting design software
Preferred Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
- Experience with preparing technical reports and memorandums.
