Graduate Rotation Analyst

Job Description:
The Graduate Rotation program is a two-year program and provides entry-level graduates the opportunity to explore all aspects of the trading floor. This development program will further grow your understanding of the energy trading industry, while giving you the opportunity to explore various career paths.
The Graduate Rotation Analyst will spend their first year in back and mid-office positions such as:

• Finance & Accounting
• Confirms & Settlements
• Product Control
• Credit
• Market Risk

During these rotations, you will develop an understanding of the direct impact the middle and back office have on commodity trading, and the overall success of the business.
The final year of the rotation will be spent supporting one of our trading desks in areas such as:

• Operations (i.e. Scheduling)
• Trade Analytics
• Generation Services
• Real Time Trading

This final rotation will provide you the opportunity to observe the daily needs and demands on a trade desk. In addition to what it takes to evaluate and execute deals and various business strategies with customers and counter-parties to optimize the business.
Throughout the program, you will be paired with a mentor that will guide you, and provide direct career support. We will work with you and your mentor to develop rotation assignments based on your education, career goals, and interests. You will gain exposure to all of the commodities we trade. In addition, you'll receive continuous training, and networking opportunities to help support your long-term career growth.
After successful completion of all your rotations, we'll work with your mentor and your past supervisors to identify an area of the business that would benefit from your background and support in a full-time capacity.
Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering - Graduation dates between 2022 to 2024
• Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Strong foundation with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Willing to relocate to Houston, TX - Hybrid schedule
• Previous internship in the energy industry highly preferred
• Programming language skills in SQL, VBA, and/or Python highly preferable
