Under the supervision of a licensed RN, the Graduate Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift and periodizing the delivery of care using time and resources efficiently integrating an evidence and standards based framework model.

- Graduate Permit (Nurse)
Other information:
- Permit to practice at the specific PHS facility is completed and approved by the NMBON
- Permits to practice are valid until the NCLEX examination are disseminated but not to exceed the expiration date on the permit
- Under the direct supervision of a licensed RN who is physically in the same facility and/or on the same unit who can observe, direct, and evaluate the performance of the GN
- Current BLS certification or within 90 days or hire.
