Responsibilities:
• Candidates must be willing and able to support and advance the University mission.
• Assist with all aspects of home game and event Sports Information tasks - statistics, livestreaming, event staffing, social media and media relations.
• Assist with creating and publishing digital content for assigned sports and events.
• Assist with content generation, scheduling and daily management of social media platforms.
• Assist with updating website content such as rosters, schedules, bios and press releases.
• Assist with statistical record keeping, research and archiving for all sports.
• Follow all applicable NCAA, CCIW and Carroll University policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Maintain full time status in an eligible Carroll University graduate program
• Additional approval is required for entrance in graduate programs outside of Education
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree required - sports management or related field preferred
• Previous experience with in-game, collegiate sports statistics keeping highly preferred
• Experience in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is highly desirable
Human Relations Skills:
• Excellent communication skills as they relate to working with a variety of constituents.
• Ability to function effectively as a team player within the program and athletics department.
• Ability to conduct self in a productive, professional manner at all times, representing Carroll University at the highest level with University staff, student athletes, alumni and fans.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and an ability to quickly learn new technology applications.
• Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, ability, socio-economic background, or job type.
Special Requirements:
• Must have valid motor vehicle license and be insurable under the University's insurance plan.
