Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant, Athletic Administration, Social Media, & Promotions on the Dahlonega campus. This position will assist with Social Media and promotions for the UNG athletic department. This position will include a tuition waiver.

Responsibilities

• Assist with UNG Athletics Social Media strategy and execution.
• Assist in the promotion of home athletic events, special events and/or promotions.
• Create and assist with planning of promotions and special events.
• Create new initiatives centered around fan atmosphere and engagement.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing & Events, Athletics.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is recommended.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Required Qualifications

• Must currently have, or will obtain by the start date a Bachelor¿s Degree.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of six graduate credit hours by start date.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Former NCAA athlete or experience in college athletics is preferred.
• Previous experience working with video streaming, new media platform and event planning preferred.
