Gr30 QA Technician Pay Rate: $ 22.52/Hours + $1.00 shift diff. Shift: 3rd shift (overnight) Major Duties: Performs visual and analytical evaluation of un-topped bagels and finished product for conformance to specifications and records results in Infinity Quality Suites (IQS). Reports any deficiencies or findings immediately to the applicable Team Leader, Supervisor or manager.
Monitors various Operator OPRPs and CCPs checks as outlined in the HACCP/Food Safety Plan. Investigates raw material or foreign material issues and prepares a documented report of finding. Performs salt, moisture and pH testing on work in process (WIP) materials.
Completes routine sensory and cook prep evaluations during the shift. Completes daily inspection of the Flour Sifter and record findings in IQS. Performs daily pre-operational inspections of the production/bakery areas at the completion of the Sanitation cleaning process; accompanies the USDA inspector on Pre-op inspections.
Collects micro swabs of random food contact and environmental areas as scheduled. Collects routine water, ingredient, WIP and finished product samples for micro-testing. Performs quality/food safety Inspection and Adherence audits as scheduled throughout the factory.
Review incoming ingredient Certificate of Analysis for compliance to Kraft Heinz specification. Performs job assignments following all safety work rules, completes and documents daily safety observations and reports any unsafe conditions immediately to appropriate persons. Willing to learn and perform basic microbiological testing tasks in the Micro Lab Job Requirements: Minimum 1-2 yrs.
manufacturing exp., food processing or QA experience preferred. High School level science and math skills as demonstrated by ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including percents. Good English communication skills as exhibited through past written and verbal reporting ability.
Computer proficiency skills is required and comprehension of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and Outlook is strongly preferred. Ability to use and read precision instruments and measuring devices. Must understand and follow procedures as outlined in the Ft.
Myers SOP Manual and have a strong knowledge base of GMPs and company product/process standards. Demonstrated ability to instruct employees i.e. through one on one training and group presentations.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, pull, push, climb and work in hot, cold, wet and humid environments with regular exposure to cleaning chemicals and sanitizers.
